Steelers fear Shaun Suisham could be done for the season

Kicker Shaun Suisham suffered a potentially serious knee injury in the Steelers 14-3 preseason loss to the Minnesota Vikings, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said afterwards. Suisham was hurt near the sidelines on a kickoff. The initial fear from club officials is that Suisham tore his ACL. He will be officially diagnosed tomorrow morning. A.J. Burnett has been diagnosed with a strained flexor tendon, first reported by Jon Morosi of Fox Sports. Burnett is not in need of Tommy John Surgery and the next step for Burnett will be rehabbing the injury and get to the point where he can get his velocity back to the low 90’s. 1B/OF Michael Morse has officially reported to the Pirates and will be active tonight vs the Chicago Cubs. To make room for Morse, the Pirates optioned Jaff Decker. Decker has hit .077 (1-13) at the Major League level this season.
