Tim Benz is a contributor to Inside Pittsburgh Sports.

“Tim hosts the morning show on 105.9 the X (the flagship of the Pittsburgh Penguins). He also hosts the lockerroom show & Steelers Cooler Talk on the Steeler Football Network. He is the host of the Saturday Baseball Insider Program on FM Newstalk 104.7 as well. Plus he fills in as an anchor at WTAE-TV (Ch 4) and is a pannelist on their Action Sports Sunday program.

Tim has been a radio beat reporter for the Pittsburgh Steelers since 2001, covering the team for the six Clear Channel radio stations in the market since 2006, and prior to that at ESPN Radio 1250.

Benz previosuly worked in Columbus, Ohio, Salt Lake City, and Syracuse, NY. He is 1996 graduate of Syracuse Univeristy.”
