Ben Roethlisberger threw three interceptions, including picks on consecutives passes in the fourth quarter as the Bengals (7-0) rallied to a 16-10 win over the Steelers (4-4).

Roethlisberger was 28-45 for 262 yards with 1 TD and 3 INT’s in the loss. 75 of Roethlisberger’s 262 passing yards came on the final drive of the game as Roethlisberger drove the Steelers to the Bengals 16 yard line in the waning seconds but threw incomplete to Antonio Brown in the end zone on the final play of the game.

Fleury earns 40th career shutout

Marc Andre Fleury earned his 40th career shutout with a 21 save performance and the Penguins got a heavy dose of secondary scoring in a 4-0 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Chris Kunitz (2), Eric Fehr (1), Matt Cullen (1) and Patric Hornqvist (2) all scored in the win.

Fleury’s .942 save percentage and 1.71 Goals Against Average are a personal best after the first 10 starts in a season.

 

Roethlisberger probable for Sunday

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger will start and is officially probable for Sunday’s game vs Cincinnati. Landry Jones will be the No. 2 QB.

Stephon Tuitt, Will Allen, Mike Vick and Terence Garvin have been ruled out.

Rick Sofield by-passed for Padres job

Pirates’ third base coach Rick Sofield had been reported earlier today as the front runner to become the next manager of the San Diego Padres, according to Scott Miller of Bleacher Report.

Sofield, though, has been by-passed for the job and the Padres are hiring Andy Green, per Miller.
