Tuitt, Allen limited in practice

Stephon Tuitt (knee) and Will Allen (ankle) were limited in Wednesday’s practice, according to the official injury report.

Mike Vick (hamstring) and Mike Mitchell (concussion) were full participants.


Tuitt, Allen scheduled to practice Wednesday

Stephon Tuitt (knee) and Will Allen (ankle) are schedule practice Wednesday in some capacity, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said. The status for both players is up in the air for Sunday. Tuitt is recovering from a knee sprain, Allen has an ankle injury.

Elsewhere on the injury front, Terence Garvin is out for Sunday. Mike Mitchell is currently in the concussion protocol.


Roethlisberger picked three times in 16-10 loss

Ben Roethlisberger threw three interceptions, including picks on consecutives passes in the fourth quarter as the Bengals (7-0) rallied to a 16-10 win over the Steelers (4-4).

Roethlisberger was 28-45 for 262 yards with 1 TD and 3 INT’s in the loss. 75 of Roethlisberger’s 262 passing yards came on the final drive of the game as Roethlisberger drove the Steelers to the Bengals 16 yard line in the waning seconds but threw incomplete to Antonio Brown in the end zone on the final play of the game.

Fleury earns 40th career shutout

Marc Andre Fleury earned his 40th career shutout with a 21 save performance and the Penguins got a heavy dose of secondary scoring in a 4-0 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Chris Kunitz (2), Eric Fehr (1), Matt Cullen (1) and Patric Hornqvist (2) all scored in the win.

Fleury’s .942 save percentage and 1.71 Goals Against Average are a personal best after the first 10 starts in a season.
