Young & Blair combine for 47 points as Pitt makes a major statement

The #1 Connecticut Huskies had no answer for Sam Young (25 points) and DeJuan Blair (22 Points - 23 Rebounds) as Pittsburgh upended the #1 team in the nation 76-68 Monday night at the Hartford Civic Center. The win against a #1 ranked opponent was the first in Panthers history. The Panthers move to 11-2 in Big East play and there will be a new #1 team in the nation next week.

They finally have two players in Sam and DeJuan who can take over a game. If they don't get out of the sweet 16 this year with this squad it will be a major dissapointment

Its just the reaction everyone makes to protect the ball, Blair just kinda pinned it when thabeet went for the ball...it could have been ugly though, happy to see thabeet is fine

PITT got away with what??? rangersfan, did you actually watch the game? huskies got away with just about everything in the final 15 minutes. and, if anything, thabeet was over blair's back when he got flipped. good win.

Actually I do not disappear, I think Basketball is the worst sport period, Over paid idiots with a combine intelligence level of a High school freshman. A majority of my friends are Pitt fans... like I said earlier sweet 16 and done!
