Young & Blair combine for 47 points as Pitt makes a major statement
The #1 Connecticut Huskies had no answer for Sam Young (25 points) and DeJuan Blair (22 Points – 23 Rebounds) as Pittsburgh upended the #1 team in the nation 76-68 Monday night at the Hartford Civic Center. The win against a #1 ranked opponent was the first in Panthers history. The Panthers move to 11-2 in Big East play and there will be a new #1 team in the nation next week.
