Free Agent pitcher Mark Mulder is working out for teams and has drawn interest from 6-8 teams according to his agent Gregg Clifton.
The Pirates are not one of those 6-8 teams.
I exchanged an email with Gregg Clifton this morning regarding Mark Mulder and Clifton tells me there has been no contact between the Pirates and Mulder.
The Pirates who lead the majors in ERA (3.00) were actively exploring the pitching market leading up to the season opener.
