New Jagr Development
Just spoke with Petr Svoboda at the 3:00 p.m. hour and he says he will be in contact with GM Ray Shero "very soon".
"As soon as I get back to a {few teams}, will be calling Ray very soon, " Svoboda told Inside Pittsburgh Sports, just after 3:10 p.m.
"Have a lot of respect for Ray, " Svoboda said mentioning his conversations with Ray in the past "10 days"
To this point, Svoboda has yet to get back to the Penguins on their offer.
The Philadelphia Flyers and Buffalo Sabres are believed to be among two teams that have looked into Jagr in the past 24 hours.
When asked about overseas reports indicating the Penguins are out of the mix, Svoboda said, "No, no...Not True"
Svoboda hinted at a decision coming this evening.
