ERIE, Pa – Pedro Alvarez smacked his first Double-A home run, a two-run shot in the fourth inning and that was the key hit that sparked his team to score six additional runs as the Altoona Curve slugged their way to a 8-4 victory over the Erie SeaWolves at Jerry Uht Park on Wednesday night.
The home run for Alvarez was his first Double-A hit. Alvarez also scored three runs for the Curve en route to finishing his night going 1-for-5.
