Arizona Fall League Update
*Pittsburgh Pirates top prospect Jose Tabata is batting .333 with 0 home runs and 4 RBI's in 6 games with the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League. Tabata went 0-for-3 Wednesday night in Scottsdale's loss. The right handed center fielder has eight hits in 24 at bats including two triples and one double.
What the Pirates want to see out of Tabata is for him to increase his power numbers. He was once regarded as a potential 25 home run - 90 + RBI player.
Tabata had 5 home runs in 93 games in the minors (AA, AAA) this year.
