Insider Only Beau Bennett out 8-10 weeks after surgery on broken hand/wrist

The fear that Beau Bennett would be sidelined for a couple months due to a broken hand/wrist has been confirmed. Following’s tonight’s 4-3 overtime loss to the Boston Bruins, Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma announced that Bennett will be sidelined for 8-10 weeks due to a broken hand/wrist.
Bennett had surgery today. Bylsma told reporters he does not have an update on Tanner Glass yet. Glass is expected to be sidelined for multiple weeks with what is believed to be a hand injury.
