Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins goaltender Brad Thiessen has been named a starter for the AHL Eastern Conference All-Stars. It was announced today
Thiessen who has emerged as the No. 3 goaltender on the Penguins organizational season, is having an excellent season for the Baby Pens, posting a 17-3 record with a 2.06 GAA and .921 save percentage.

Thiessen has 2 shutouts on the season and has backstopped the Baby Pens along with backup goaltender John Curry to a 30-8 overall record.
Also named to the All-Star game was forward Dustin Jeffrey who leads the team with 23 assists and 38 points in 34 games. Jeffrey is second on the team with 15 goals. He is currently in Pittsburgh on a callup basis.
