Penguins defensemen Brooks Orpik and Paul Martin have been named to the United States Olympic Hockey Team. It was announced after today’s Winter Classic game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings.
Orpik will be competing in his second straight Olympics. This will be Martin’s first Olympic appearance after being named to the 2010 USA Team but was left off the final roster after being injured.
