Three Big Names on the move?

NBA trade Rumors

Kevin Garnett heading to New York? Various reports out of NY is that the Timberwolves and Knicks are in serious disscussions in a trade involving Kg to the Knicks for Channing Frye and Jalen Rose

my take: No way this deal will ever happen, I see this more as the New York media just dreaming. One deal though that could possibly happen is a three team trade that would reunite KG with Stephon Marbury in Minnisota not New York.

Allen Iverson will not be traded: Although the 76er’s have given the possibility of moving Iverson it’s more likely to happen in the summer than now. One team to make a run at him this summer will be Denver who had disscussions with the 76er’s but were shut down at the time.

Steve Francis: He will be a Knick by Thursday, but will that lead to Marbury returning to Minnisota ?

Will the Lakers make a move? Laker personel have stated that the Lakers will not make any major deals. After missing out on Ron Artest expect this team to stay put. Will be a sleeper team once the playoffs arrive.

NFL rumors

Drew Brees to Miami?: With the Chargers not franchising Brees he is likely to hit the free agent market and the south Florida sun-sentiniel reports the Miami Dolphins are expected to make a strong run at landing the pro bowl quarterback. Also according to the Miami Herald the Dolphins are in heavy talks with the Minnisota Vikings about traded for Quarterback Daunte Culpepper.
my take: Daunte Culpepper will be moved or cut. The favorites to get him are the Dolphins but expect Baltimore and Oakland to be in the running.

Ty Law: Released from the New York Jets… Interested teams KC, Miami, Jacksonville and Patriots ?

Charles Woodson: His days in Oakland appear over as the team will not place the franchise tag on him which would have cost them 12.6 million.

Steve McNair: The former probowl quarterback will not take a pay cut and is due a 50 million dollar extension if Titans and McNair can’t restructure his contract. Miami has been rumored again as a team that will go after him if he is cut. The Dolphins are a dangerous team and expect them to land one of the big three ( Brees,Culpepper or McNair )

Jamal Lewis will not be franchised and will hit the free agent market.

Reggie Wayne has been resigned by the Indy Colts to a 40 million deal with a 13.5 million signing bonus. Wayne is a special player but this move ends the days of E.James as a Colt. Although running backs are easily replaced, James is a top flight back that will not be easy to replace.
