Malkin, Crosby to play together against Boston
When the Pittsburgh Penguins struggled to score goals during Michel Therrien's tenure as Penguins head coach, he often turned to Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, by playing the two star centers together on the same line.
The move often worked as the duo would stay together for a handful of games.
With the Penguins in the midst of a four game losing streak, Evgeni Malkin will return to the lineup tomorrow night against Boston and head coach Dan Bylsma will play Evgeni Malkin on a line with Sidney Crosby in the hopes of jumpstarting his struggling team.
Malkin has missed the past seven games and the Penguins are 0-for-26 on the man advantage since Malkin has been sidelined.
With Chris Conner re-assigned today, the lines against Boston will be
