Chris Carter’s season is over, placed on IR

Second year outside linebacker Chris Carter (abdomen) has struggled to stay healthy for the second straight year and was placed on injured reserve today. Carter who opened the season as the starter at ROLB due to injuries to James Harrison, Jason Worilds, had 8 tackles on the season.
In his three starts (vs DEN, NYJ, OAK), Carter combined for 5 tackles and 0 sacks.
Linebacker Marshall McFadden has been signed to the 53-man roster to take Carter’s spot on the 53-man.
