The USA Today preseason coaches poll was released today. Penn State enters the season ranked No. 14 and the Pitt Panthers come in at No. 15.
West Virginia is No. 24, tied with Utah who host the Pitt Panthers to open the season.
The Big Ten is highly represented in the top 15. The Big Ten teams in preseason USA Today Coaches poll are No. 2 Ohio State, No. 10 IOWA, No. 12 Wisconsin, and No. 14 Penn State.
The defending champion Alabama Crimson Tide are No. 1, followed by No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Florida, No. 4 Texas and No. 5 Boise State to round out the top 5.
Pitt (No. 14) and West Virginia (No. 15) are the only Big East teams ranked in the top 25.
