Coaches Poll: Pitt falls to No. 21; WVU moves up to No. 6

The Pittsburgh Panthers (16-5) took a plunge in the coaches poll for the second straight week. Pitt fell four spots to No. 21 after a 1-1 week, defeating St. John's 63-53 (1/28), and losing to South Florida 70-61 (1/31) Sunday afternoon on the road.

Meanwhile, West Virginia continues their climb in the top 10 and have moved up three spots to No. 6 in the latest coaches poll.

West Virginia beat DePaul 62-46 (1/26) and Louisville 77-74 (1/30) last week to improve to 17-3 on the season.

Pitt and West Virginia meet Wednesday night for a Big East showdown.

Pitts never won a BCS game.....ever....ever....Mounties 2 in the last 5 years....but..its a totally different sport....

Well...Both have 0 in my lifetime...so its a wash......and if Pitts so dominant...why are they running away from the mounties for the Big 10?...haha

A.) Pitt is not running away anywhere at this time. B.) The only reason they would move is because Big 10 football brings in way more money which would benefit the whole university.

NO I agree with that, but I had to throw it in there...If the mounties got invited for football I'd be pissed if they didnt go...BUt it would break up a fun rivalry...I love hating Pitt....

Well, unlike Penn st with PItt, i'm sure if Pitt moves to the Big 10 the rivalry will continue as a non-conference game.

Im cant wait to see Kilicili, finally they will have a 6'9'' 260 pound presence out there....I think thats what they are lacking, and making them very shaky at times.
