Sidney Crosby was minus-5 in the Penguins 5-3 loss to San Jose. It marked the first time in Crosby’s career that he was a minus-5 in a game. Crosby was pointless and had just one shot on goal, along with a number of giveaways, though, he was credited with just 2 giveaway’s. While plus/minus is an overrated stat, Crosby is now a minus-6 in his last 19 games and just a plus-7 on the season. Crosby has been a plus-15 or better in every season since 2008-2009.
