Live Game Updates: Crosby continues to dazzle

Sidney Crosby extended his points streak to 16 games, recording an assist in the first period against the New Jersey Devils.
Skating down the left side at full speed, Crosby caught a cross-ice Pascal Dupuis pass in his feet and kicked the puck up to his stick and found a trailing Chris Kunitz who fired a one-timer in the slot past Devils goaltender Johan Hedberg to tie the game at 1-1.
The goal was Kunitz’ 8th goal of the season.
Crosby leads the NHL with 47 points and has 17 goals and 15 assists during his now 16 game points streak.
The game is tied 1-1 after one period. Pittsburgh outshot New Jersey 16-8. The Penguins were 0-for-3 on the power play
