Crosby, Scuderi, and Talbot miss practice; Crosby to test injured knee in Friday’s morning skate

Forwards Sidney Crosby and Max Talbot did not practice today as the Penguins just took the ice at 12:00 p.m for an optional practice. Crosby is being held out of practice with a left leg injury and is day-to-day. Crosby’s status for Friday’s game will not be known until after the teams morning skate. Talbot suffered an upper body injury and is currently being evaluated. Defenseman Rob Scuderi is also not practicing. Scuderi took a shot to face in the first period of Wednesday’s game.
Pascal Dupuis is targeting Sunday as a possible return. Dupuis skating is not 100% yet and is struggling a bit with stops and starts.
