Penguins captain Sidney Crosby did not return to Pittsburgh with the team, following their trip to Florida this week, the team announced this afternoon on their website.

Crosby according to the team, stayed back in Florida so he can meet with Dr Ted Carrick this week. Carrick has offices in Florida and Georgia. Carrick specializes in Chiropractic neurology. Crosby in the late summer made great progress after visiting with Carrick who feels they pinpointed the issue at the time. Crosby is said to be having minimal headaches at this point but the big issue that has to be attacked is Crosby’s motion issues, which is prompting the visit to Carrick. The Penguins continue to indicate there are no plans to shut Crosby down for the season
