The Florida Tuskers of the UFL have signed former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Darnell Stapleton, the team announced this morning.
Stapleton, 24, an undrafted rookie out of Rutgers spent three seasons with the Steelers. He was the Steelers starting right guard in 2008, starting 12 regular season games, and three playoff games, including Super Bowl XLIII
Stapleton suffered a knee injury just days into the Steelers 2009 training camp and was lost for the season.
The team opted this off-season not to bring Stapleton back.
