Defensemen Simon Despres and Brian Strait have been recalled for tomorrow night’s game against the New York Islanders. At least one of them will be in the lineup as Ben Lovejoy is expected to be out of the lineup and Matt Niskanen is still working his way back.
Defenseman Kris Letang left yesterday’s game after delivering a hard hit on Danius Zubrus where his face slammed into Zubrus head. Letang though later returned and finished the game. It is unknown if he is suffering any lingering effects.
