The Steelers increased their offer to Bryant McFadden this week but the Miami Dolphins who were believed to be a potential suitor for McFadden prior to free agency have decided to move in another direction. I spoke to a source who covers the Dolphins and he claims

the Dolphins have no scheduled visits with McFadden planned and they won’t be planning any in the near future. According to my source, McFadden is looking for a big payday and the Dolphins are not in the big payday player market right now. They are exploring cheaper options like Eric Green from Miami.
Prior to free agency, it was being highly speculated that Drew Rosenhaus believed the Dolphins would make a major offer for his client. McFadden is looking to return to Florida.
Potential Suitors: Arizona ( currently offering less than Pittsburgh); New England and Tampa Bay have been kicking the tires on McFadden. Teams like Detroit, New York Jets balked at McFadden’s demands and also went in another direction.
