The Pittsburgh Steelers announced this morning that receiver Antonio Brown of Central Michigan is visiting the team for a pre-draft visit.
Brown is 5-foot-10, 186-pounds, and he declared for the NFL Draft following his junior season of eligibility. In his three college seasons, Brown caught 310 passes for 3,198 yards, and he added another 2,602 yards on kickoff returns.
The Steelers have now had 29 players in for visits – seven wide receivers, six offensive linemen, five linebackers, three cornerbacks, three defensive lineman, three safeties, one running back and one tight end.
On Friday, April 9 the Steelers visited with wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders, 5-11, 186, from SMU, and Rejus Benn, 6-1, 219, from Illinois. Also brought in that day was safety Earl Thomas, 5-10, 208, from Texas.
Rejus Benn and potential 1st round prospects Dez Bryant and Golden Tate have headlined the group of wide receivers to visit the team, prior to the team trading Santonio Holmes.
