Insider Only Dustin Jeffrey has a torn ACL and will be sidelined for 6 months

Head coach Dan Bylsma announced following tonight’s game at his media session that forward Dustin Jeffrey has a torn ACL and will be sidelined for six months.

According to Bylsma, a torn ligament was found during surgery today.
The injury is a big blow to Jeffrey who had been projected to earn a regular spot going into next season.
An MRI conducted last week found knee damage but did not reveal the true extent of the injury at that time.
Jeffrey is a restricted free agent at seasons end.
