Quick hits from today’s workout and are the Penguins interested in Ducks forward Chris Kunitz?

The lines in practice were as follows
Talbot – Crosby – Satan
Dupuis – Malkin – Sykora
Cooke – Staal – Kennedy
Bissonnette – Zigomanis – Godard
Ruslan Fedotenko remains limited with what I’m being told is a groin strain. Fedotenko did not skate today but was at the complex for treatment. His status is up in the air but will try to skate tomorrow morning when the Penguins practice at 11:00 a.m.
Michel Therrien has been mum on whether Mark Eaton will return to the lineup. Eaton was a healthy scratch and the move was made to light a fire under him. Still, Therrien is reluctant to change his lineup after a win and Daryl Sydor didn’t play too bad.
Even if Fedotenko plays Thursday night, Max Talbot is expected to stay on the top line for the time being. Therrien was very pleased with Crosby’s unit Saturday night.
Brian Burke appears pretty serious about making a bid for Mats Sundin. Burke is shopping forwards Chris Kunitz, Todd Marchant and the Penguins, Thrashers, Islanders, Canucks, Coyotes, Hurricanes are among a group of teams Burke has contacted to see what kind of trade market there might be for Kunitz. Pittsburgh will not make a play for Kunitz due to Kunitz having a cap hit $3.75 million for the next three years.
