Insider Only Evgeni Malkin dominant in OT loss to Bruins

  • The Penguins MVP at the mid-way point of the season is certainly Evgeni Malkin. Malkin netted his 18th goal of the season, with a blistering shot 15 seconds into the third period to tie the game at 2-2. Pittsburgh eventually lost 3-2 in overtime on a Patrice Bergeron goal. Malkin had goal, assist and 6 shots on goal in the win. Malkin is tied for third in the NHL in scoring.
