Wilkes Barre/Scranton (8-3-1) extended their winning streak to seven games with a 4-2 victory over Norfolk on Wednesday night. Eric Tangradi (7G-5A-12Pts) scored twice, Ben Street (1) and Simon Despres (2) added a goal.
Tangradi who has a team leading seven goals, is playing extremely well, averaging a point per game.

Despres the Penguins top pick in 2009, netted his second goal of the season last night and had a two point night, adding an assist. Despres has two game winning goals, tops on the team.
Goaltender Brad Thiessen (8-2-0) improved to 8-2 on the season with the win. Thiessen has a 1.82 goals against average on the year.
Dustin Jeffrey appearing in the first game of his conditioning assignment, was pointless and had two shots on goal.
