The Philadelphia Flyers are reportedly close to signing goaltender Ray Emery. Emery played in Russia last season and his contract expires after July 1st.
"We have had internal discussions about many players and their potential availability, including Ray Emery," Flyers GM Paul Holmgren said in a statement. "I have spoken to his agent a few times about Ray as well. Any further discussion about this would be very premature."
