Forward Max Talbot had to be helped off the ice this morning after being hit in the left foot by a Matt Cooke shot.
Talbot had no…

pressure on his foot as two players helped him to the locker room. He has not returned to the ice and was in serious pain when he exited the ice.
Hopefully it’s nothing serious as Talbot is getting back to playing at his previous level. He had a team high 7 hits on Thursday night.
Missing from practice today is Evgeni Malkin, Brooks Orpik and Mike Comrie. Orpik and Malkin have been given maintaince days.
