Kunitz, Letestu & Jeffrey all progressing
SOUTHPOINTE — After an off-day on Thursday, the Penguins are back on the ice this morning at the Iceoplex Complex.
Matt Cooke is set to return from his suspension and is back skating as a regular on the the top-4 lines.

Meanwhile, Chris Kunitz and Dustin Jeffrey are progressing from their respective injuries but neither player is ready to return to the lineup this weekend.
Both players are not on the ice this morning, along with Eric Tangradi and Arron Asham.
Jeffrey who is garnering trade interest is expected to return to the lineup at somepoint next week. Kunitz appears to still be at least few days away. Like Jeffrey, next week is a likely target.
The Penguins still continue to insist Arron Asham is day-to-day as Asham has not skated in 18 days. His return is not considered close.
Updated: Following practice, Kunitz went through individual on-ice workouts along with Mark Letestu who is progressing very well. Both players were in jumpsuits.
Letestu is expected back sooner than first thought.
