Friday’s Practice Notes: Paul Martin dealing with an upper body injury

FRIDAY’S PRACTICE NOTES
*The injury bug is still hitting the Penguins as defenseman Paul Martin is not likely to play tomorrow afternoon vs the New York Islanders. According to the team, Martin has an upper body injury and is under going further evaluation. Martin is having a bounce back season, playing a shutdown pair with Brooks Orpik. Averaging 25:22 of ice time per game, Martin is 9th among NHL defenseman with 21 points and his +12 rating is 10th among defenseman.
*Winger Jarome Iginla has yet to arrive in town and did not practice today. Iginla is still in the process of getting his immigration status resolved. Pittsburgh hopes to have some more information on the matter by later this afternoon.
*Marc Andre Fleury will dress vs the Islanders and might start.
