Pittsburgh Panthers redshirt freshman Travon Woodall scored 19 points and Ashton Gibbs added 18, leading the Panthers to a 68-55 win over Wichita State in the semifinals of the CBE Classic on Monday night at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.
Playing on the road for the first time this season, Gibbs, Woodall combined for 37 points and Pitt pulled out a gritty win to improve to 4-0 on the season.
Wichita committed 24 turnovers and shot 37 percent in the first half.
