Insider Only Injury Report: Polamalu misses second straight practice

POLAMALU EXPECTED TO PLAY?
Strong safety Troy Polamalu missed his second straight practice Thursday as he continues to rehab his sprained knee.

Still, the Steelers expect Polamalu to play Sunday in the showdown against the Vikings.
When asked if he’ll practice Friday, Polamalu said, “Yes, God willing.”
Beside Polamalu, the only other player on the Steelers’ active roster who missed practice Thursday was back-up linebacker Andre Frazier, who’s still being bothered by a thigh bruise. Frazier was hurt in the win in Detroit and didn’t play Sunday in the home win over Cleveland.
Meanwhile, running back Rashard Mendenhall was a full participant. He was limited Wednesday due to a sore knee. Mendenhall will make his fourth straight start on Sunday.
