The all-in Blue Jackets will enter the final day of the regular season as the second wild card seed and will need a regulation win vs the Ottawa Senators combined with a Hurricanes loss against the Flyers to move into the top wildcard spot and avoid the Tampa Bay Lightning in Round 1.
