Evgeni Malkin created headlines over weekend with his comments, tonight he created headlines with his play on the ice. Malkin put on a dazzling performance with a four point night, 2 goals and 2 assists, leading the Penguins to a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild.

At 11:11 of the second period Malkin had what might be the goal of the year so far in the NHL, going through his legs and behind his back with the puck and burying a shot past Devan Dubnyk to give the Penguins a 4-1 lead.

It was Malkin’s first four point game since the 2013-2014 season.
