Nova, Pirates clobbered by Tigers
Ivan Nova (10-9, 3.87 ERA) allowed 10 hits and 6 earned runs in 6 1/3 innings as the Pirates got clobbered by the Tigers 10-0 Wednesday night.
Nova continues to trend downwards in allowing 43 hits and 21 earned runs in his last 28 1/3 innings pitched.
He still owns a respectable 10-9 record with a 3.87 ERA but after a strong first couple months to the season, he’s been the Pirates worst pitcher over the last four weeks.
