Jake Guentzel the Game 3 Hero as Pens take 3-0 series lead

Penguins 5 – Blue Jackets 4 (OT)

Jake Guentzel scored the overtime winner off a feed from Sidney Crosby to deliver a 5-4 OT win for the Penguins and a 3-0 series lead.

The goal at 13:10 of overtime, was Guentzel’s third goal of the game to cap off a great night for the rookie with a hat trick. Bryan Rust scored twice in the win.

Pittsburgh trailed 3-1 after the first period by rallied with three unanswered goals to lead 4-3 late in the third. Brandon Dubinsky tied the game with 4:49 left in regulation to force overtime.

Pittsburgh outshot Columbus 47-37. Marc Andre Fleury made 33 saves for his 56th career playoff win, tying Tom Barrasso.
