Clint Hurdle moments ago on starting Josh Harrison at third base said Harrison gives the Pirates a “different vibe.”
The Pirates hope to be aggressive on the base paths tonight and when it comes to the bench, Keon Broxton could come into the picture at some point in the game.
“Our best base stealer. He’s fearless,” Hurdle said as Broxton will be active and likely used as a pinch runner.
Broxton was 150-for-206 in stolen base opportunities during his minor league career, a 73% success rate.
