Kunitz’ late goal in 3rd gains Pittsburgh a point in shootout loss to Panthers

5SecondsApp (28)The Pittsburgh Penguins (28-19-8, 64 pts) staged yet another late comeback in Florida to gain a point. Chris Kunitz scored his 11th goal of the season with 3:19 to tie the game at 1-1 as the Penguins and Panthers went to overtime for the third time this season.

It took a shootout (5 rounds) to end this one as Jussi Jokinen scored in the fifth round and Al Montoya stopped Matt Cullen to end the game. Florida improves to 33-18-6, 72 pts, on the season.
