Jeff Skinner a top trade target of the Penguins leading into the 2018 entry draft, has been dealt to the Buffalo Sabres.
In the deal Carolina receives Cliff Pu from Buffalo along with a second-round pick in the 2019, a third-round pick in the 2020 and a sixth-round pick in the 2020.
Pittsburgh was among three finalists for Skinner during draft weekend but trade discussions between the Penguins and Hurricanes became scarce after July 1.

It sounds like he won’t and he can dictate where he gets traded too. Most teams will not offer what he is worth bc they know he will be a rental. A sign and trade is the only way CBJ’s come out of this with anything worth value. Let him go west.
Stone resigns 1 year with sens 7.3m a lot of money. Yet looks good compare to fraud Ryan that plays on 3rd 4th line at 7.5m
Thought they would get a bit more, especially considering they wanted rust. Buffalo adds a scoring veteran winger to play with Eichel or Middlestadt which could help. They will be an interesting team to watch this year.
Maybe they will be better then Montreal lol.
