As future Hall-of-Famer Jaromir Jagr continues to see a limited market for his services, the Columbus Blue Jackets have given consideration of adding Jagr into the mix for the 2017-2018 season, league sources say.

No offer has been made to Jagr’s agent Petr Svoboda but the Blue Jackets have weighed bringing Jagr in on a camp invite as a potential bottom-6 winger and power play specialist.

The NHL’s second all-time leading scorer has yet to give much inkling to the few teams kicking tires if he’d be willing to come to an NHL camp without a contract.

Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reported on Tuesday the Calgary Flames are among the teams that have discussed Jagr.
