The Baltimore Orioles have agreed to a two year, $7 million contract with Korean OF/1B Hyun-soo Kim, the Baltimore Sun reports. The Orioles offer topped the Pirates’ offer that was worth around $3 million per season.

Considered one of the best hitters in Korea, the left-handed hitting Kim batted .326 with 28 home runs and 128 RBIs in 141 games. The Pirates were looking at Kim to play first base.
