The Pittsburgh Penguins took a 1-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final after a 5-3 win Monday night.
The Penguins delivered the Game 1 victory with 12 shots on goal and went 37:09 without a shot between the first and third period.
The 12 shots on goal were the fewest shots ever for the Penguins in a playoff game and of all places, it happened in a Stanley Cup Final game that the Penguins won.
The #pens are just the fourth team since 1990 to win a playoff game with 12 shots or less.

Chad R needs to play for Hainsey. Kessel off Geno’s line
hainsey is rutherfords boy
They stole this one no doubt. They caught a huge break then stopped playing for it. That said it could show this teams ability to just win no matter what.
