— .937 Penguins netminder Tristan Jarry stoned the Sabres again and stopped 32 of 33 shots as Jarry almost became the Penguins first rookie goaltender to post consecutive shutouts. Jason Pominville ruined Jarry’s shutout bid at 11:18 of the third period. Jarry is 4-0-0 on the season in six appearances with a 1.99 GAA and .937 save percentage.
“He was real solid,” Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan said of Jarry. “We have high expectations of him.”
