Penguins 4 – Canadiens 3 (SO)

The Pittsburgh Penguins rallied to tie the game in third period with a goal from Patric Hornqvist (3) and prevailed in the shootout to defeat the Eastern Conference leading Montreal Canadiens, 4-3 on Wednesday night.

Sidney Crosby and David Perron each scored in the shootout. The Penguins come from behind win was their first win in the Mike Johnston era when trailing after two periods. The Penguins had previously lost their last 37 games when trailing after two.

Pittsburgh has won 10 of 12 games.
