Pitt beats Wake Forest 101-96

Pittsburgh 101 – Wake Forest 96

The Panthers (18-7, 7-6) avoided a potentially disaster of a loss by outscoring Wake Forest (10-16, 1-13) 19-14 in the second overtime to defeat the Demon Deacons 101-96 in double-OT.

Chris Jones led Pitt with 23 points and James Robinson added 22 points in the win. Michael Young and Jamel Artis each had 19 points.

Robinson made five free throws in the final minute to secure the win for Pitt. Wake Forest shot 50% (16-32) from the free throw line, Pitt 76%.
