PIRATES 6 – BRAVES 4

Gregory Polanco had a monster game, going 4-4 with an RBI, double, stolen base and run scored in the Pirates (2-2) 6-4 win over the Braves. Polanco picked up three of his four hits against knuckle baller R.A. Dickey whose erratic pitching doomed the Braves.

The Pirates had 10 hits in the game, with 8 singles and Polanco’s double coming off Dickey.

Pirate starter Chad Kuhl struggled with his control throughout. Kuhl walked a career high six batters and threw just 46 strikes on 85 pitches. He allowed 5 hits and 3 runs over five innings.
