Maurkice Pouncey was a disaster in the Steelers 48-37 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Pouncey handed the Browns a gift on the first play of the game resulting in a Browns recovery in the end zone and a 7-0 lead. But, it didn’t end there. The ensuing series, Ben Roethlisberger is pressured and picked off as he over throws Benny Snell on a dump off for a brutal INT. Moments later, Baker Mayfield connects with Jarvis Landry for a 40 yard touchdown and it’s 14-0 Browns just 5:14 in. Pouncey would strike again with the Steelers trailing 14-0 as he got blown off the line of scrimmage on third and, one forcing the Steelers to punt on their next series. It didn’t end there for Pouncey for who had another botched snap on 4th and 1 at the goal line. The 31 year old who has been declining for years now, is due $8 million next season and carries a $14.475 million cap hit.
